About your adventure

As with all out projects, there is a cultural element to your learning. This starts with a walking tour of Korčula. You will also kayak around the island, go on guided walks around Kocje Nature Park to absorb as much of Croatia’s awesome landscape as possible.

A key focus of this project is on marine conservation. You’ll increase your knowledge by learning about the ocean up close during your kayaking and snorkelling tour. There is no better way to see marine flora and fauna than in the sea itself!

Get a different perspective on the wildlife you’ve already encountered by taking a full-day boat trip around this beautiful archipelago. Get the chance to see more wildlife including the occasional dolphin or ray!

The final part of your trip will be based on dry land - a hike to Kočje Nature Park. This protected, 10-acre area includes unusual rock formations, narrow canyons and freshwater springs, as well as a blanket of moss, lichen and ivy. This hike will give you a chance to appreciate the terrestrial ecosystems, unique to this beautiful island, all with breathtaking views.

After 5 days of adventure, you will head home with a wealth of ecological knowledge.

Our trips are designed to help you develop a wide range of life skills and a deeper understanding of how you can help us work towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. Learn more
