About your adventure

Throughout your visit, you will be staying in classic canvas bell tents in your own private, cliff-side campsite, allowing you to get up close and personal with your surroundings and immerse yourself in nature. Eat great food made with locally sourced ingredients and prepared by amazing chefs, toast marshmallows by the fire, and spend free time exploring the surrounding coastlines and hidden beaches. Discover the importance of, and principles behind, conservation practices in Wales, the UK, and the rest of the world.

The Pembrokeshire Coast is one of the UK’s best, unspoilt coastlines, and you get to see the very best of it from clifftops, hidden bays, boats, and of course the sea! You will take part in conservation activities throughout your trip including beach cleans and plastic collections and learn from the best minds in conservation and marine biology. Consider the motivations and designations available to protect wildlife on a local, national and international level, and learn why a combination of all three is of importance to the future of global biodiversity.

Thrilling, challenging, exhausting, exciting, fun... These are just some of the words I would use to describe our three days spent in Wales. Flooglebinder had everything in hand from the beginning making organising a student trip very simple. The activities were packed in with everyone able to take part, no matter their experience or ability. Everyone had a great time and overcame personal fears and challenges in the process. I can’t wait for next year!!
